Hey, i've got a problem with my 1.05 patch.
I've re installed my KoH due to crashing problems with a mod... right now i can play the game perfectly as i used to play. The thing is... i've downloaded the patch and installed it, but it seems that the patch wasn't installed... i mean, the game doesn't show the changes it should have (for example: the negative relation points you would earn with a kingdom after breaking a trade agreement with them or if you place the mouse on any kingdom on the mini map it should show the color of that kingdom, i dont know if u know what i mean)

The thing is that when i try to re install the patch it says that it has already been installed.

HELP!

First, try to come up with more descriptive thread-titles in the future. If you had named the thread "Problem patching a reinstalled copy" a user with a similar problem would easily find this thread and would immediately find the solution we will eventually come up with. Also a more descriptive thread title is more likely to attract users with more knowledge about that topic.
Second, about your problem:
Please start KoH. In the main menu it will state its version in one of the lower hand corners. If it says 1.05 you're fine.
It is likely though that it won't say 1.05 but 1.03 or 1.02. That is because the uninstallation-routine of KoH doesn't work properly with the patched version of the game.
You can remedy the situation by manually finishing the uninstallation before reinstalling:
1. Uninstall the game using KoH's uninstallation routine (via 'Systems Settings -> Software' or 'Start -> Programs -> Knights of Honor -> Uninstall').
2. After that go to the main KoH-Folder (propably C:\Program Files\Knights of Honor' or something of that effect) and delete all files that have been left over.
(These left over files are what lead the patch-installer to believe that the patch is installed even though it isn't.)
3. Now proceed to install the game again.
4. Attempt to patch the game. It should now work.

I hope that helps. :go:

I'll write more descriptive titles in the future :D

Thanks for the information!
