Hello all!

I used to play this game back when it was new, but now I haven't played it for years...

Well, I've just ordered the game (again), which is said to be compatible with Vista. Anyway, what I'm wondering, is if the resources have to be random (if I remember correct, they were), or can they be province specific (like in Total War games)?

Another question: Are there region specific units in this game (I don't remember)?

Well concerning the first question the region resourses are always random. And for the second question yes there are region specific units.

There are region-specific units, kingdom-specific units, and universal units. I, too, played this game after it was first released and just recently re-purchased it again, only to fall in love all over again. This is one of those games that ages well and has near-infinite replay value. :)
