iīm really new on this.. so first iīd like to say hello to everyone... HI everybody
so, iīm really bloody.. iīve got the gane only a couple of weeks now but itīs really fun and i canīt stop playing it.. but i donīt liked some stuff here or there so iīve decided to install a MOD the first time.. nice.. i thought.. really great job!!!
after a couple of days i thought... iīve to start modding myself.. so i read the most of your comments but i still donīt get it with that PAKMAN.. i only tried to separate the British Island into more provinces (Wessex into Wessex & Cornwall and York into York and Mercia) but i didnīt worked the way i wanted.. itīs not easy for someone bloody as me :)
another question is... is there any chance of using the isles above the UK.. say Orkneys??
if someone like to give me some advise.. i would really appreciate this... so i left my ICQ# im my profile
ummmmm..... just thought... maybe thereīs a MOD with British and Skandinavian Update out aswell??

If (s)he has this signature, then (s)he like the Liverpool, I think, or (s)he like this 5 words. :D BUT you answer in this topic, so (s)he think you know the answer, so (s)he see this topic, and (s)he will be angry or (s)he feel bad, or fall depression, while you don't answer his/her question! :D
And McManaman was so old, he played many years ago in Liverpool.

so what exactly is your problem with PakMan? be more specific please.
And don't be scared that you failed to add new provinces, I think it's almost easier to make entire new map than to add provinces to the actual one, but I might be wrong of course, haven't modded for a while now.
There were several plans to make a british mod as far as I remember, but YET they all failed.
lad i think what u mean is, is there any way to change-mod the scenario(as in add territories where there are none, etc...) and the answer is yes! but im not entirely sure how. i know that laudan knows(be he quit the forum i think) i believe elven also has some knowledge on that, and a few others.
for my part, well. i know that i will involve editing some long text files and most likely knowing the exact co-ordinates of what-where,so... not exactly a simple task.

can somewan make e new kingdom for my i wan to play with flanders but the are not in the game as a country and i suck in modding :)

Sorry, couldn't resist, your post really made me laugh. Try to type better next time, it's pretty hard to read that way [but it's pretty funny] ;)
True, plus, if modding was easy, you could do it yourself; if it's not easy, such a post isn't really very convincing for others to waste their time on it.
P.S. I thought Flanders was already in the game. Or maybe I'm wrong..?

Nope, it wasn't. There was a discussion about this back in 2003 in the old KoH forums before release of the game where some Dutch fans wanted Flanders to be included, but in the end it wasn't. At least that's how I remember it. Seems I beat you in remembering, Nike :p

wow, after returning from hols, iīm really surprised to see so many replies :)

i have much troubles with pakman, iīve tried to make the unused islands on the north coast of great britain and east of the island available for new provinces.. like FIVER did with VISBY.. see that ONE and it looked great
and i tried to separate the kingdoms (UK) like i said.. WESSEX into Cornwall and Kent and YORK into Mercia and York.. none of it is playable in the game.. so i donīt know what iīve done wrong..
@Fiver ... do you still have the FILE with VISBY?? maybe you could send it to me and i can check out... whatīs wrong with my files??
