Fixed a crash introduced with the last update

Ambience audio track added to all missions
Fixed memory leak that could possibly lead to not enough memory while running the game
Structures has their durability increased
Fixed bug causing player progress not to be saved after in-game reconnect to GameSpy
Specializations needs 50% less xenoshards to reset now
Fixed bugs with various objects seen under fog of war
Various small mission related changes
Added checkpoint before the nesting grounds in mission Into the Lair of the Beast
Added checkpoint before the final battle in mission Following the crumbs
Added private game creation functionality - (Shift+CREATE click)
Garbage Assaulters and Hellfires has hiher damage and hit points
Fixed bug with incorrect cursors
Added checkpoint before the fight with the Guard Droid
Fixed an effect tooltip in the Safari special location
Fixed bug that halved the Brute damage output when the Brute is ignited
Infest spawns 18 hatchlings instead of 20 now
German version: fixed Tharksh’s line about the teleportation receiver in the ‘Ascent’ mission
Sound added to Natures Grace action
Added cursors for attack move and picking items
Added reacts for Corruption and Nature Grace
The Soul Worms are now spawned with the right faction when the Stone Ghost is dead
Disabled Ladder tab in LAN

this means if we already joined a game our changed itemconfigis still wont take effect in that game? hm i considered that the most anoying bug atm ...
but the solution 4 private games is nice and easy

Well well exactly after patching the game i cant play anymore... i mean i try to play coop and like the first unit is attacking and i get a bug and worldshift shuts down. So the others do. All my friends got that bug. Is it only on german version or what the heck?!

hm... i posted many bugs. nothing changed yet... even the annoying DMG-Bug is still in game and its being abused by some players.

normal hellfires are strong enough
yeah weaken aliens and keep tribes as powerful as they are... why not buffing the tribes more???

since the 1.0.20 patch in the mission end screen if u drag an item from the left screen u dont get the courser with a little display of the item any more but just a normal courser... this was better as it was before when u could see a little image of the item u where courently "holding" with the courser

well a overseer that gets 3-4 dmg per +1dmg is a balance issue AND a bug
I have an item that gives you +1 dmg for overseer and the dmg I got ingame was +8
Hm did the overseer have a proxy bonus ? I can't remember it right now.. If so - take into the account the proxy bonus . For example the medic deals 64-8 , which means she has 8x proxy bonus. So an item that gives her 2 dmg translates into 80-10 dmg in game if my calculations are correct (I hate maths ;)

i explain the bug for all:
Close-Combat-Dmg is the result of a multiplicator x Range-Dmg
a +dmg item goes on the Range-Dmg
Example:
Dominator/Unterdrücker
45-15 DMG -> Multi = 3
3x15 Range-Dmg = CloseCombat-Dmg
+10Dmg-Item goes on 15 Range-Dmg -> 25 Range-Dmg
Multi still the same so new Dmg for Dominator/Unterdrücker will be:
75-25 Dmg
understand?
All units that make different Dmg on different ranges are the same.
Examples:
Surgeon: +1 Dmg-Item -> 72-9 Dmg (Normal 64-8, Multi 8)
Arbiter: +19 Dmg-Item -> 19-99 Dmg (Normal 16-80, Multi 0.2)
this can be extremely abused... hope now BSS will change something on that
Overseers have no different damages... somehow they are connected between their two forms (Field and Power). So overseers get a huge bonus on dmg AND they are on range. they are the only unit that gets the multiplied dmg on the range-dmg and not on close-combat-dmg
i explain the bug for all:
This is not a bug, it is intended. We are looking carefully on how units performs when boosted with items and if needed there will be obviously some balancing work on our side. So, far everything is in "predicted" scope.
This mechanic allows many units to be used after boost from items in a different way than from the start (offensive surgeons anyone?!).

I hope there is no item-base for this. I mean, healers of other races suck all the way and the humans even can buff them to an semi-usefull damage-dealer?
I've seen 120 dmg medics when I was a little noobito. IIRC the item that buffed them that much wasn't of much use for anything else. Still good for pranking teleporting masters and spammy hatchlings (as it is practically melee-ranged dmg)

in the last time i have often tried to explaine to ppl what the diffrence between range multiplicators and overseer mutliplicators is and why the last one is a bug (imo)
the mutliplicators for greater meele dmg are fine and a great idea but the overseer dmg multiplicator makes them to strong with no disatvantage
meeletroopers have either a range or a good damage and they can be keept at distance by fear/stun/or other skills so meeletroopers need skill to be played and can be beaten by skilled players (skill>items, good!)
but overseers with boosted damage have a fast attackspeed, good dmg and a good range... so they are just too strong and there is not mutch to do about this (items>skill, bad :( )
(offensive surgeons anyone?!).

Yeah but there is still the 80 coins it cost. When I remember right, the other races have a
10, 20, 40, 80 cost on their units while clut has 10, 20, 80, 80. If you want it weaker, then
make it cheaper ;).

no the price is good. its just too strong with the bug. i think u should play against gorg. he loves to abuse this bug
We are cheking how the Overseers are performing and if needed there is going to be a change :) I am posting this to show that we are reading carefully what has been said here and we take it in account!

The last patch came at 28 May 08...
isn't it time to give some details about the next patch or when it does come?
Lots are waiting for next patch and we dont get any informations...
We are waiting a half eternity for it, but dont get anything, not even when the next patch will come.
I know there was some trouble because Crytek aquires BSS, but thats also over more than a half a month ago, so it really should be time to say something about the next patch.
Could we get some statements please?

What exactly do you mean with more information? There already far too much bug reports which are still unheard.
i mean when they release the patch..
or something about whats in the patch, like new maps or something else...
if they finally patch the really old bugs, which were not patched in first patch...
something like that you know :D
