Knights of Honor and Vista

Hello all,

after the installation of Knights of Honor on a Win Vista system, the game doesn´t start. There is a Error message, which say that the KoH.exe is corrupt.

Is there a chance to play the game ?

I have KoH installed on WinXP to external drive. And I can play it on Win Vista from this external drive.

I had to right click on the icon of KoH on the desktop and then one of the options will be: Run as Administrator. Click that and it should work.

Unless this is a different problem than what I had (it said error too but when I did the administrator thing, it worked)

i tried that but it didn't work. the error message is:

Microsoft visual C++ library

Runtime error

C:\...\AppData\local\temp\JBZ\BABZRZJJZ.exe


abnormal program termination


The thing is, "AppData\local" doesnt even exist under the file path!!:bash:
in fact, every time i start it again, "JBZ\BABZRZJJZ" is always different!:bash:

Perhaps installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=200b2fd9-ae1a-4a14-984d-389c36f85647&displaylang=en) or for 64-bit systems (x64) (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=ba9257ca-337f-4b40-8c14-157cfdffee4e&DisplayLang=en) helps?

i tried the first link, but it is the same thing.
it also wont let me eject the disk

Did you check your system for viruses recently?

but it worked fine on windows 98
