//ADMIN: You can't imagine how much pain you cause to me! I do HATE deleting posts. :( :( I know you will be angry, and it's feels so unjust when you HAVE to make friendly people angry.. especially when they are really nice to you. But what other option you gave us?! Please, please, use English only ...
Ola, Soy Un Chico Espaņol Y Me Gusta Mucho El Worldshift. Me Gustaria Conocer Gente Y Acer Amigos Para Acer Campaņas Cooperativas Y Duelos. Interesados Contactar Con Migo(responder Al Mensaje). Gracias.
Can you translate that to English please? Frujin has stated that English is the only language to be used in this forum.

That's why the forum needs moderators. Even one will do the job.
Uhm... Is this good for KoH2 or irrelevant to it (since I doubt anyone would officially say it's bad)?

Personally, I doubt well-established companies like Crytek and BSS would consider a deal without having the current project in mind. So it's likely to be good for this matter.

Of corse. Crytek says
WorldShifts' co-operative multiplayer proved that there are completely new possibilities for the RTS genre and was a solid step further.
Which is probably one of the things why they considered this a good deal. No one can deny BSS are innovative and talanted. Now I hope with the resources they receive from Crytek their games will be even better.
I guess they'll be pulling the plug on this forum too. :crushed:
wow! well, let's hope it helps KoH2 (and also Worldshift ;)
it shuold at least help BSS to have better publishers, because yet one seems to be even worse than the other...

I wish former BSS the best of luck with the new partner! :)
At least this seems like a big enough one (i.e., hopefully, they won't leave BSS with a lousy PR). And Frujin mentioned in the press release that they "think it is a perfect match", so let's hope he knows them well enough! And the best of luck to them both, of course! :)

I have seen many a PC gaming company get swallowed up by another. I hope this will be the beginning of a prosperous and productive period for Crytek GmbH and that it will result in more games for us gamers.
I also hope it means that Knights of Honor will not be forgotten.

That's great news :D . Now lets hope that KoH2 is not going to use the CryEngine and we won't need supercomputers to play it :D

Translation:
Hello, I'm from Spain and I really like Worldshift. I would like to get to know people and make friends so that we can play Coop missions and duels. Those interested contact me(answer to this message). Thank you.
On topic:
Hmm, Am I suppose to feel happy or sad about this? What doe this mean about BSS's games in the future? I imagen that Crytek( I have never heard of them) will have a lot of a say as to what goes into the development of a game. Hopefully this acquisition will lead to better funded development, thus more polished games in the future.
My hope is that the bss team keeps up with their good work so that can finally get Koh2. :)
Best witches to you Frujin, and the rest of the development team.

Noooo, they be stealing our Frujin! :D
I'm also not sure what this will bring. Though I do agree this will defiently give BSS the boost they verily deserve!
Seeing as Black Sea Studios will now be Crytek Black Sea I'm wondering about one thing. How much power will "main" Crytek hold over you, so to say?. Will they be able to say "Thrash KoH now." and BSS must comply - or....is it more of an "We love you, make another godsend like KoH!"-relationship? ;)
Yes I like KoH and BSS. Try and stop me.
Thanks for the kind words guys! They mean a lot for everyone of us. And do not warry, we will be still around.
crytek is a mercenary company, making market-oriented games(therefore usually crappy, though good looking -.-).
BSS is a new, young, creative, and immensely competent company, devoted to making solid games for those that actually like to think AND play, instead of just grow numb.
i dont see the perfect match there.
to me this is one of those scenarios where you trade virtue and liberty for easy and money, and you end up losing it all.
still... what do i know eh? maybe this will be a new reality in the world, and maybe our beloved BSS wont vanish into thin air... lets hope.
all pray for BSS.
cheers:go:

I am really not sure if i should be happy...
Just hope that everyone at BSS feels comfortable with it and that their next game will be KoH2...
Cheers
Congrats Black Sea Studios!
This means that BSS, now Crytek Black Sea, will have access to a larger PR machine, more funds and probably a good pool of programmers and designers.
I hope you'll still make your own way though, but I think that will be alright!
poster. I think that today you have to sell yourself (be a mercenary more or less) in order to survive and bring something special, something originaly.
ANd if it gives KoH2 better conditions to be produced and sold. I trust Frujin and CBS that they won't sacrifice uniqueness of KoH.. and from my point of view, it would be suicide for KoH to be just an eye-candy. You can't compete with TW series in this, you have to bring something special, something what KoH offers ;)

i disagree with you on that elvain, look at the guys in iceland(CCP) they did not go for the mercenary approach, but instead worked very hard, without proper payment for a long time and now they have one of, if not -the, most interesting MMOG there are out there.(and very successful too) -thats eve online btw.
to me BSS was one of those companies(small, innovative, and hard working), now you're right about the fact that TW games have taken it far, and getting there would be tough, but graphics aren't that hard to upgrade.
innovative ideas are what we don't see all the time, and i hope you end up being right about the fact that they wont sacrifice anything, for anything else.
let us pray together brothers! :D
I don't say it's good to become a mercenary company and I don't think BSS (CBS) will become one any time soon (I trust Frujin he knows what he's doing).
Anyway, the weakest part of all BSS games yet seems to be their publisher. With strong partner behind them I believe CBS can have better publishing of their games. Everyone who knows them thinks they are really good, but too little people knew about them. More people know, more people buy... more money promises better support and better KoH2.. that's at least what I hope for :)
