Hi!! I am new member of this forum :o I have big problem.. The game ( drops ) retun to windows while I playing..

I closed autosave,musics,sounds,all graphics.. but it has been still continue...

I installed patch 1.03 but that time, the game didn't work.. Please help me :cry:

RAM: 2 GB ( 667 Mhz )

Did you install the 1.05 patch? Did you try the newest drivers for your video card?

Does the crash usually occur at the same event or is it random?
Sadly, I experienced random crashes as well and never found a solution other than saving often (altough saving always was a great crash risk on that pc).

No, I could not find 1.05 patch :sad: can you write me its link ?

Yes, I installed new driver for my graphic card but it's still continue.. The crash occur at the same event. I tried 1.03 patch but the game did not run. ( it was looking like to run on the processing list KOH.EXE but the game did not start.. anyway.. I will try install new windows,the lastest drivers. I hope I can continue my save file :sad:

PS: note that after you install the second atch it is not recomended to continue your old savefiles (the game behaves little differently)

The Patches Scrolls (http://www.patches-scrolls.de/) is the best source I've found for PC game patches. They have the German/French/English (http://dlh.net/cgi-bin/dlp.cgi?lang=eng&sys=pc&file=koh_patch_105_ger_uk_fra.zip&ref=ps) and the Russian (http://dlh.net/cgi-bin/dlp.cgi?lang=eng&sys=pc&file=koh_patch_105_rus.zip&ref=ps) 1.05 patch for Knights of Honor.

Which is great. I prefer games that just check the cd-key and you don't have to have the disk inserted.

Thanks for everything.. I solved my problem.. I removed windows and re-install it. after, I installed all the lastest drivers for my hardware.. The problems were graphic card driver and SP 3 pack... anyway...

By the way, Can not we play multiplayer as Normally ? I mean, I want to play with my friend on Lan Connection like single player.. we want to play on the map.. I hope I could explain it understanding way...

1. Regarding crashes:
If any other users read this, looking for the reasons for crashes: My experience from the Sunflowers-forum is that very often old soundcard or motherboard-drivers can cause seldom and random crashes in KoH.

2. Regarding MP:
You can't play the europe-campaign in multiplayer. It's one of the main points of criticism about KoH. But nevertheless, try the tower-games. If you have an equal opponent it's a very compelling game-mode.

I have the same problem now. Migrated to Windows 7. I am playing a game as Highland. Never had a problem until i conquered Ulster. Now, from time to time, when is switch between the political map and the normal map the game returns to windows...don't know why. I tried various compatibility modes but i think it's actually a problem within the game. Maybe the game doesn't always know what to do with the name (how to display Highland on the map)?
