Well, I was looking through some info about anno 1701 when I came across this
http://anno.uk.ubi.com/
Are you serious? lol "A voyage of discovery to the outer most east, The orient", in 1404? :crushed:
The graphics look great, but I don't know, the story seems vague.
In any case, it should be an interesting twist to the anno series.
Yep! And you will have a city in the orient that helps you gain technology for your Anno settlement. Seems somewhat like the Age of Empires III concept.
Now I want to be the Arab. And destroy the Europeans (evil laugh)!
Still, this is a new improvement. Usually the europeans that has better technologies. Now it is our time! The Rolling Wheel is believed by Zen.

I love the ANNO games. Will surely try this one.
Should be interesting to see where this game is sold.
this is kinda off topic but Ano in spanish means anus.
this is kinda off topic but Ano in spanish means anus.
And just where did you come up with that?
And what difference would it make anyway, since the game is "Anno" which is Latin for year!
And Aņo is also Spanish for year!
Seems you are just trying to be cute!

shame on you ! This is original latin and not a squalid dialect of it like spanish is.

After participating in the beta, I can safely say my assumption was wrong. It is nothing like AoE III.

Is it better or worse ? (I didn't like the system of AoE III those reinforcements feeled like cheating)
I liked the game much better. This in my opinion is one of the best sequels to a game series. Testing was limited, so we didn't get to see all aspects of the game, but from what I did get to see, it is going to be an awesome addition to the series. Of course I am not at liberty to discuss any aspects of the game prior to the release. I will say there is a lot of additional content.
