Anyone care to upload and share their game profile where they've completed the single player mission campaign and unlocked all the missions/locations/skirmishes?

I cannot progress past the mission "Into the Lair of the Beast" where you have to kill The Big One. I must have replayed it 20 times.....can't be done. And yes, I did read that a hotfix will be released to address the impossibility of the mission.

But for now, if anyone has a player profile they'd like to upload and share, I am sure many in the community would appreciate it. Or if anyone would like to share their profile because they have advanced gear or specialties, that might help too.

Your game profile is located in the directory: C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USERNAME\Application Data\WorldShift\Profiles

Hello !

If you read the other messages, you'll see that about everybody is in the same trouble than you. No one can kill this damn beast on that mission, et everybody wait for the patch that will make this boss possible.

A way to make it "easier" is to do some skirmish, farm some objects to make some xenoshard, and make you a big defense template... But even with this, it seems to be very very hard.

A very bad part is that until BlackSee doesn't realese his patch, we can't continue the campaign. And I'm sure that some players will stop this game because of this damn boss...

'till then, bye ! And See You !

PS : Sorry for my eventual bad english, I'm just a frenchie :D

Hmmmm, I was under the assumption that some of the players that have been playing since the initial release of the game might have already had player profiles with maxed Ability Grids and Specializations that could defeat The Big One.

So no one has maxed their profile yet to be able to defeat The Big One?

Well there is a bug with The Big One since the last patch, so i have done this mission short after release in may.

So you have to get better items and try very long or you can wait until the next patch or you can ask other player to invite you in their koop games. You can join other koop missions even if you don't have unlocked them.

Btw. why do you want the LAN profiles? Do you realy play this game in LAN mod? The LAN profile will not affect the internet profile.

Hi Sybex.

Yes, I understand that the LAN profile won't effect the online internet profile.

I pretty much only play games offline (single player/lan). I've just never been a big online player at all.

So I figured if someone had a decent LAN profile with maxed out Specializations and good items in the Ability Grid, that I could use that to just enjoy myself in LAN mode.

I was surprised to see that someone hadn't already uploaded their LAN profile as a type of LAN mode "game save" already, since people do that for most games.

Well, i can check if i have a profile for LAN mod. But you can be sure that i won't have a profile with could items (wasting time for me, i just mostly play this game online).

Thanks Sybex, I'd appreciate it. I'm not so much worried about having good items, as long as the Specialties for Humans and Tribes are maxed out. Getting decent items shouldn't take that long.....I think the Specialties will be more important in the long run. Thanks again.
