Is there anything i can do , or is it just to throw the game in the garbage ? Is there anyone that can help me?:cry:

If it is the install disc - make sure you don't need to reinstall. In case that you have to (re)install, well, I think there's but the option to buy the game a second time (and throw the old in the garbage bin).
I think dist2 is the play disc, so with patch 1.05 it should be ok.
I had the same problem before the 1.05 patch, I asked Sunflowers, sent them my brkoen CD and they sent me a new one.
But now Sunflowers don't exist anymore, so I have no idea who can do it.

It seems a litle late to post this, but I have an opinion about the part with the install disk.
He bought the game once, didn't he? So why not download it from the Net? I'm normally against piracy, but in this case there would be nothing wrong with it, since he already bought the product once. :)

I think there are other, better, possibilities. I believe CBS should take care of it.
I would recommend to at least PM someone from CBS
Yes, but it's the fastest way. And I don't think it would hurt CBS so much, he already bought the game. :) Anyway, that's just a suggestion.
I also think downloading the game is a good option in such cases, though it's indeed far more convenient if he can get his disc replaced.
I think i will buy the game for the second time . It was really bad luck. I work on an supply vessel and i play KoH on my spare time onboard , and the disc was broken during a storm. The ship was listing and everything in my cabin ended up down on the floor, and the KoH disc two was broken in two pieces by a chair. :bash: . A valuable lesson learnt, keep the discs in a safe place .

It is an easy way of avoiding that one be confronted with the fact that somebody else's work has to be worked for to obtain. That you cannot immediately have what you want. And if you have the bad luck of losing something you bought -by accident or perhaps just by using it- then that is the consequence of use, don't you think? The fact you are using it to that extent proves its worth. Why not buy it again then, if it is so worthy? At least reconsider downloading the last cd of your favorite band: would that reward their effort or would it rather deny your appreciation?
To return to the original theme, I would surely try and contact CBS about it. They are nice guys and might have a cd lying around.

To be honest I am surprised nobody from CBS have reacted yet in this thread. Do they read our posts or did they totally resigned on everything concerning KoH as it looks now?
OT: Damm, I just realized what CBS means! I'm still used to the old BSS! :D
