Can't click on anything on the menu n it doesn'yt fit the screen

I hav jus gt a samsung nc10 netbook n installed KOH rfter hours of disc 1 cleaning due to installation errors (cyclic reduncy check). I hav finally installed it ready to go skiin on holiday with KOH bt the game gts to the menu and 1.) the screen does nt fit, the menu at the bottom is to tall. 2). n worst of all the menu cursor glove appears on the menu bt when i click nothing highlights or happens as if it has frozen bt it hasn't.:bash:

Can any1 give me any help plz coz i go skiin in 7 days n need KOh 2 work :D

Probably a stupid question but: why would you take KoH if you're going skiing??? It's like taking a TV with you on hunting. My advice: play KoH @ home !!!! But it's your decision.

Yeah bt there is time on the plane, n airport, chalet in evenings n i havn't played KOH 4 a yr n a half so i really wanna play

I just discovered there r no video settings at the moment n wander if tht is the problem, n hw to gt (make) video settings

(its a text file, top contains video settings)
their is a way to start with the video setting chooser (KoH.exe /c i think)
but if you check that file, it will tell you what video mode is found/chose, and if you rename it (or delete it) it should startup with the screen res chooser again

BTW, have you installed the 1.05 path, most definitely needed

erghh do u have 2 activate the patch cuz i hav jus downloaded it n went through install wizard bt do u hav 2 do anymore coz it hasn't made anydifference to me n the menu still doesn't work n i cant click on anything n play

Question: what is your screen resolution? KoH does not support custom or widescreen resolutions, only 1024x768.
The fact that the mouse does not work well could indicate a hardware conflict, but I am not sure.

AFAIK the patch only makes gameplay changes.The patch also removes the copy protection and cd-check.
