View Full Version : My Mouse pointer vanish
Goodday, I just bought my copy of WS yesterday, today I installed it, the game installed and start fine, first it seems no problem at all, but something really strange happened, because my mouse pointer just vanish, I have to slowly move my mouse to click on the button, Just see my attachment.
Can anybody help me? because I can't play like this, my mouse also vanish inside the missions.

You have this version of worldshift, authentic pc dvd of the game?.

You have of the version 1.0.20? How is it possible? Players have the version 1.0.23

I live in Holland, I just bought my game throught a web-shop. when I installed it, the games shows version 1.0.20, autoupdate doesn't update it to the latest versions, so I do a manual update, now my game is also at version 1.0.23, but I still have the same strange problem, no mouse pointer.
Changing resolution doesn't help either.

Try reinstalling.
I have reinstalled it the third time, no luck, the last time I deleted every folder relate to Worldshift and reinstalled it, but still no mouse pointer/icon/trangle. really strange.

Hm...wait for Frujin, he may know how to fix it.
Try to play in windowed mode and see if that helps. Also there might be a problem if you are not using hardware cursors (Control Panel -> Mouse -> Pointers, Select "Windows Default"). Another try is to play the game as Administrator.
