1. Site doesn't work
2. This falls under political/religious issues
3. What do you mean by the good from Allah and bad from writer? Are you trying to convert?

What is this?

I thought we had already closed the book on posting controversial topics!

Religion is one of the most controversial topics in the world today.

Please keep your religious postings to other websites.

I think I can speak for most of the users here, when I say that your religious comments are of no interest and we prefer not to be bothered with them being posted.

You have actually painted a bad picture of Islam with your persistent hardsell of the religion.

So, please stop with the religious posting.

I disagree with posting religious topics on this board since we all agreed not to post them (at least untill there is a full-time moderator)

On the other hand, tIWM just posted a link to a muslim organization where texts about islam can be found. We could (elsewhere - not here) argue about the text he has chosen, but apart from breaking common agreement of no religious topics here I don't see why should he be criticised

I wouldn't mind if he would post his own objective thoughts on religious subjects (as long as it wouldn't be offensive or anything like that). I don't see why should the religion matter, as long as it's objective and civil, be a banned topic from this board, especially since the admins of the mod itself haven't explicitly forbidden it. I for one wouldn't mind learning more about the world of Islam in a more distant place like Indonesia, as it probably varies more or less from my known closer-geographically Islam of Turkey f.e. (but, I repeat, from a personal perspective, not what some other guy or site is saying)...

Everyone's statement is based on something - usualy someone elses ideas. He posted what are roots fort his religious opinions.

as for GogoT: If you don't care of religions or islam, why do you read threads that are clearly about it?
if you wouldn't be interested why would you read it?

I understand that yyou don't like IWM's posts about Indonesia and Islam. On the other hand, they are clearly announced in thread names, so if you don't really care, you can simply ignore it.

True, but if he were to remind IWM a friendly reminder that religious topics are forbidden, that won't be so bad?

as long as the reminders are friendly, I'm ok with them.

But we know who wasn't really friendly

I ask again: Who says religious topics are forbidden?

Has anybody else the same as me, namely, that when you hover your mouse above the link posted by IWM, the link turns yellow, but you can't click it? I find this rather strange.

In the quick glance I had, I found the site interesting enough. Information on who is Allah (it is customary to write and say Allah, as far as I know, and not God), et cetera.

On a side note, the link contains 'fundamentals' which is meant completely different, of course :)

hehe, of course, fundamentals is something completely diferent from fundamentalism :D
