Can someone give me a map of Middle East and Anatolia and Egypt at 2nd Crusade time.

I only have one for time of Saladin (Salah ad-Din)
so the main diference is that Egypt is realm of Fatimids during the second crusade

the map I posted is from time when Salah ad Din started to rule Egypt, he just replaced Fatimids. The political situation in the rest of the ME didn't change a lot between late 1140's and early 1170's

I wasn't back-checking the information, but as far as I remember it should be right (I study that so I should know it) Was I wrong?

If I remember it correctly they first assassinated Nizamalmulk and then Malikshah.. maybe the gap was little longer....

well, according to Wikipedia they were active since 1090 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hashshashin

Yeah, and Nizam is killed in a feast. And I know all of this from the "Samarkand" book.

I was just interested - I find it quite amazing that most random things people ask, you seem to know. You're a good student or your study is very good, or both! And I think the former at least to be true ;)
