View Full Version : Spy %ages
I haven't trusted them for a long time, but I just tried a 25% chance to kill/45% chance to be jailed, king assassination 20 times in a row. I failed and got imprisoned every time. What's up with the %ages?

I don't have a lot of trust in using them either.
Most of the times (when my spy is successful in a foreign kingdom) he is assigned to lead a puny army – he is then wiped out in his first battle - hardly much of a reward for tying up a court slot for an extended period of game play.
I'm using spies all the time, point two or three on the same kingdom. Once in three attepts something appens: a spy becomes a king or a merchant or a cleric, so I consider them rather useful. Of course, I promote them with five stars first.
What does that have to do with the topic?
Nothing, only it has the same Object (Spies)

My question: did you alter the variables behind spies, or did you just try to do the same thing (king assassination) over and over again in the same situation with standard chances?

I'm tempted to think that the chances it shows don't list the kings spy defence and any other spy defence in the other court.
I'm going to guess that also. Perhaps BSS intentionaly left the 'true' spy chances out of UI so as to make it more of a challenge and to make the players think carefully before taking actions.
