I am trying to re-install the game on my laptop (after reinstalling the operating system) and get the following message:

feature transfer error
disk disk <1>
component <disk>disk1 files (2)
g:\setupe.exe
data error (cyclic redundancy check).

HELP!!!!!

I have bought a new notebook with Vista and try to install KOH and similar note appeared on the screen during installation:

data error (cyclic redundancy check).

what to do? any suggestions? Thanks

It might be possible to do a manual installation. Just create the right maps and copy the packs and other files yourself.

I have a problem: I can not copy whole CD on PC, because it will stop (about 75% of CD copied) and the same message appeared on the screen (data error -cyclic redundancy check),
what should I do? I would like to play KOH again after so long time.
Is it possible that the CD is somehow damaged?

thanksIf you cannot copy it manually, the cd might be damaged, even if only slightly. Did you clean the cd already with a soft cloth, wiping radially outward? You can also try making an image of the cd using a burning program like Nero and then running that image with a Virtual cd-rom like MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM. Maybe Nero can open the image itself.
