Hello. I have owned this game from the time it came out and have never had any problems with it. I love this game!
However, I recently bought and installed a new sound card (SoundBlaster X-fi) and also completely reformatted my computer. When I play the game now (with patch 1.05 installed) I experience constant and very annoying sound problems… sounds seem to skip and repeat themselves over and over again. The music skips and repeats itself over and over again… it takes forever for one of the knights just to say, “I was getting sea sick.” I have also tried the game without any patch installed… no luck.
Instead, it sounds like this… “I was getting sea sick, sea sick, sea sick, ick, sea, I was getting sea sick” then sometimes it will randomly remember that it never said something from earlier and it repeats itself after five or so minutes. The music does the same thing!
In addition, the game seems to chug now and it never did that before! The only thing I have changed is my sound card; does anybody have a clue as to what has happened???????? :bash:
