I have a problem with pakman..

When i choose 'extract all files to origial director(ies)' nothing happen..
Its says 'busy..' on the bottom, and when it finished, the extracted files are nowhere.
They only show up if i extract them to a spesific directory somewhere out of the knights of Honor folder in program files..

Can someone help me?

The option should work like this:
You open e.g. defs.pak, right click a file and choose "extract file to original directory". Afterwards the file should be placed in ../Knights of Honor/defs/ (that's because most files in defs.pak are to be positioned in 'KoH-folder/defs', files from other paks are placed elsewhere).
Does it really not place the files correctly?
If it really doesn't it may be possible that the windows registry-entry that saves the location of Knights of Honor was lost for some reason (e.g. by reinstalling windows and not reinstalling KoH afterwards). In that case Pakman can't possibly determin the location it needs to write the files to and the problem can't be fixed unless you fix the registry-key (e.g. by reinstalling KoH). If the registry-key was really lost then chances are that the extracted files appear in C:\defs, C:\tests, C:\europe etc.

Try using the file-search utility to discover the files you extracted. It's likely that you've just been looking in the wrong place.

I did not understand much about that..
I found them! yay.. but they are not visible anywhere else than in Pakman... u cant search for them or find them unless u use pakman and click open.. The only place i have found them is when i click open in pakman.. i have tried to go the same place that pakman where, but the folders where invisible..
Is this normal?

Maybe it's a Vista-thing that they are not visible, but normally the files would really place visibly at X:\Program Files\Black Sea Studios\Knights Of Honor\defs e.g., or in some other installation directory you chose.

It's probably in the Europe pack if it's not in the text pack. I haven't done much looking on my own so I can't really help.

Thank you mammix,
although I do not understand polish language, I recognize your link useful. I spend 2 hours to find out how to open pak files of KoH. And finaly I have become a member of this forum, and I used your working link. Thanks a lot!

I updated the first post with the original ZIP archive, as Tempest would want, so that the ReadMe is now included. Also added some mirrors.
