I have now played around 10 hours as Cyprus and I am the leading country in all the ways... Military, economics etc.
But now I have started to think of what more the game could have to make it more interesting. Now my money flows in and my land is very religios and it seem that to take over the world is not very difficult. Now I just wait for my knights to get recalled to be seated in another province and adopt or convert them. What if you could make your own decision on how good or evil you would be. Make festivals for the people if you where good or go witch hunting or take some people and put their head on the a pole for the town to see. This was something that happened in the middle ages.
What do you guys think ???
Share your oppinions and lets make this a thread where we can discuss what we missed in KoH and what we want in KoH 2 if it comes.
There is a similar thread but most people there talk about if KoH 2 is comming or not.

Here is something I wrote in another thread about the temple knights :
What i missed alittle was a secret order....We had the "power" Secret order and the spies got 5 or 10 % more "succes skills". I missed that we could have more powers than that... That if you had 30 000 in gold you could make your own order which could have been in banking or protecting business.... Had been funny if you had a little country with a secret order... Ekstra bonuses if you took banking.. Plus 10 % more income ( with a fee to the order offcourse) or if you took protecting your traders would have been safer and if they where ambushed by a country or pirates it was more likely that you would win... It depends of course what training your order had and how large the enemy forces had been.
And in time you could upgrade your order and lend it to an ally for example.. If they needed protection for the king or any thing else...

I have an idea, how about lending money to a friend? For example: You're not quite ready for a war to help your friend, but you have spare money, so you lend some money (with interest) to your friend.
Oh! How about true mercenaries: say you have a few extra squads of say, Men-at-Arms (I know, all this Men-at-Arms stuff from me), so you send a marshal near a foreign border and select certain units to be available for hire. Of course, enemies won't be able to hire them and if someone who hires them becomes an enemy, the mercenaries will leave their army and go back to their mercenary camp. And if disbanded they will also go back to their camp. This could be an interesting way to make some extra gold. :go:

And how about the service to guarding trade caravan or ships? It could be an interesting way to get gold too. For example, the king send his two best spearmen division to help a foreign caravan get to their destination.
Not only this will make golds, it can also used as a relationship upper!
And ability to replenish your population with gold (slave, as you know, slave! You can buy them and free them! That way your population raise! and you can send them all to plunder enemies! HAHAHAHAHA (;evil laugh)

Something I also missed was that more countries could join a crusade. Would have been fun if France and Germany went on a crusade against Spain. And the pope had to little power in KoH. He is supposed to be the most respected and powerful man in Europe and yet he could not do anything so to speak.
I also want more of the Temple Knights. A land could after getting all the resources and money and establish an order. And you could choose wheter they where in warfare or establishments in the holy land etc. They did alot of things and they where many also. Not only one order but there where several of them. And all of them had an inpact of the middle ages.
And also the Jihad can be made more powerful
It can across the border. (Now it can't)

I'd like some stuff to change. For example when rebels take a castle and create a new country they get their own kingdom units and not the normal ones ( swordmen, spearmen, archers, etc.). And second I'd like when you lose your entire country to remain playing and to manage to start a rebelion to gain independency and chose your country's name when you gain it.

nice idea, but how to play with no towns, knights - nothing. What would you do? wait untill some your loyalist emerges?

What they could have done is to put in a timer. So you got for instance an hour to capture an castle or maybe they could put some outpost in the world also. So you could take an outpost for so to replenish some troops and food before venturing to take a castle.
Just an idea :cool:
