OK, friends. I make a thread which is used to post if you are going anywhere or anything for some days. It's just so no one worry or anything...

As for me: In 21th to 25th of January I've gone to the Marine Training camp (school's compulsory activities!). To learn dicipline or anything like that. So expect me on the Next Week Saturday (if I can move my finger...)

He's arrived in Jerusalem 6 days ago, but I don't know if the three weeks are for the staying there or the whole trip.

it is my personal trip, but I write a thesis on Palestinian refugees' life, so it is ... both, I'm really enjoying doing this school work ;)

Wow, I'm impressed by the Palestinians. Even in the time of conflict, they still keep their streets clean... Not like us.

I should get you all a picture. Some time, OK?

Oh, and Elvain, can you tell us the synopsis when you finished it? No need to type all part. Just the conclusion...

Wow, I'm impressed by the Palestinians. Even in the time of conflict, they still keep their streets clean... Not like us.where did you heard or seen that?
Their streets are always dirty and full of rubbish.. but it perhaps depends on how I - European - imagine dirty and clean road?

I should get you all a picture. Some time, OK?

Oh, and Elvain, can you tell us the synopsis when you finished it? No need to type all part. Just the conclusion...

I only had really crappy digital camera but much better camera for films (I love old stuff)...

and if I can say a conclusion now: BOTH sides are right when they say: "the other side doesn't want a peace at all, so why should we try?"
sad, but true

PS: some pics from Jerusalem:
The Wailing Wall and the Dome of the Rock (http://img123.imageshack.us/img123/5161/dsc06627gq9.jpg)

Golden Menorah (http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/6991/dsc06626bh0.jpg) - restored for the first time since fall of the Second temple, and the text says: may she have place for her to rest - as soon as posssible, maybe even in our days. guess what it would mean?

And the refugee camp few days ago:

Is that snow or am I seeing things?

elvain

there was over 20 cm's in Ramallah, but it was slowly melting so I guess now there is not much of snow left.

Btw I just came home...

What happen to the one of you standing on the rail? Or am I simply missing it? That one was my favorite. In the background you could see a Muslim tower and a Christian Tower to the temples.

Well, if you saw the roads here, then you'll agree with me that it will be considered 'clean' ;)

it is the first picture I post in this thread, in post no.15 (me in front of old Ramallah) and there is a greek Orthodox church and muslim mosque towers visible in the background.

Well, if you saw the roads here, then you'll agree with me that it will be considered 'clean' ;)oh, so streets donw there have to be really terribly DIRTY, coz those in Palestine were often too much for me (and I am definitly not a clean-lover) - people there simply don't care and throw their garbage on a street, I can't imagine what worse can people in Indonesia do? the only worse situation is that people and animals use them as toilets (I apologise to those with soft stomach)

IWM

Ooh, I should give you all a pic... If you see the river, you'll be shocked...

Edit: I've found some!
Here is them...

(taken from some roof in Jewish town which I accidently found, but I love those trips to unknown dark narrow streets in old cities.. yes I love Old Jerusalem)

Wow! Good pics...

you really don't know???

The Wailing Wall? It is the only wall of the Second Jewish Temple that was destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE, the holiest place for the jewry. The reason why the Jews will never think of giving Old City of Jerusalem to anyone else (as long as they can hold it)

So donw there, there are Jews reciting the Torah and praying

IWM
22 Feb 2008, 11:24
Oh, I knew it.
The Zi0nists are everywhere.....

JOKING!! Just a little sarcasm, OK??
I KNOW NOT ALL JEWS ARE ZIONIST, OK?

maks
22 Feb 2008, 17:34
Not only that, there's even anti-zionist orthodox judaists, who believe the true Israel state must be established by Messiah, not mere humans.

I'm adding it for the sake of peace and justice, or something like that.

IWM
25 Feb 2008, 12:02
I know I know...
It's still the same situation as long time ago.
Some sect of Jews against Muslims, some neutral, some ally with Muslims. :go:
