I have installed the game 2 times and entered the CD key correctly and it says that it is invalid and I can't join. I get past the validate part and create an accout it gets accepted and then when I try to log in I get an error .:bash:
I got pretty much the same problem, my fileplanet-key is said to be invalid!
please check to see if my key is working: 2HEJ-UK... just kidding:D

I had the same issue, all I had to do was put in the dashes too, it's kinda lame and time consuming compared to other games but still if that doesn't work re register or something
well tried it with dashes before, even tried it without dashes, no matter what I do its not working... running xp btw, so it shouldnt be one of those vista related bugs

It says when you get the key to enter it with dashes.
If your entering it with dashes then chances are you wrote it down wrong. Fileplanet sent you an email when you registered for the beta, go back to that email and make sure what you wrote is correct.
Im also on XP and my key worked fine. Also, others are obviously playing the game as well so it's not a problem with the key, it has to be something else.

I'm also having issues I got the cd key via PM from the staff.
Same issue here got my key from FP and saying that its not valid.

I think your bring sarcastic saying were trying fake one to get it but I got one from Frujin.
When you type your CD Key, please type it exactly as you see it (with dashes etc)

Since if put the wrong cdkey in (ie no dashes) is there a way to change the cd key without reinstalling the game?...

I had the same problem, and I found the solution! Apparently if you do not enter the dashes, it won't work right. Soo, look in your main drive/documents and settings/(username)/application data/worldshift/cfg folder and there is a settings.ini file there. In the third line there is cdkey = str: (paste cd key with dashes here). Restart the game and log in!

My problem was: I couldn't even enter the key. I could enter four characters only. Numbers were possible, too - but it wouldn't recognize my dashes.
The solution above worked for me as well though.

I'm glad that I found this Thread. Solved the Problem but its a pity that it doesn't work properly without some hacking^^.

CD key is invalid no matter what i do,,,i mean cmon people were are the ADMINS with help that werx? i mean its bad enough its a long download and the get cd key wrong? these people just start makin games? HELP
