i noticed that i when i press the mousewheel to rotate the camera, that as soon as the cursor touches the edge of the screen that the camera beginns to scroll sideways rather than continuing to rotate. it'd be better if the rotation continues until i stop holding the mousewheel.

I cannot rotate my camera whatsoever. I am not sure if i am doing it right. but every single thing i try with my mouse wheel does nothing but zoom in and out. and if i hold it...its takes me to an almost thumbnail of all the windos i currently have open. not bad in single player...but not so good in multi i bet

I hold down the mouse wheel button and move the mouse. This rotates the camera for me. Make sure you have a mouse wheel button, also that it is not mapped to a key by its own software.

That was my problem, but it sounds more like he's trying to hold the mouse wheel down and scroll it expecting it to rotate. Like you said, you have to move the mouse while holding the button down, not scroll the wheel.

yea...it was my microsoft mouse software. Changed it to middle mouse button. It works now...but i have a very very sensitive mouse wheel and it also clicks side to side. It makes it very tough to change the camera angle if you happen to be jumped by back agro or a patrol or something, because clicking that button without rotating it at all is very tough on the fly i have found. And I can imagine in PvP where its even more hectic that it would be harder. My 1 other problem with the camera adjust is...that if you happen to hit the edge of the screen, you will scroll across the map and stop rotating. Just small things, but hey, its why we are here isnt it? :)
other than that...i am loving it so far.

Playing at work with a Logitech MX Revolution mouse I found out what it is like to have the wheel button problem. You are right it makes rotating very tough. At home using a Logitech G5 I have no problem.
I figure that when key mapping is added we will be able to change from the mouse wheel to an easier button, Like maybe a thumb button.

haha. i still use a 2 button and roller mouse haha. Right Click and Left Click. I hope we can map a button on the keyboard...like -Tab- or -`- or anything...and rotate it that way. who knows...but its very frusterating when you get attacked from behind or anything. haha. caused me a few deaths.
