Just as a note the patching takes FOREVER.... as well as the install.
It takes like 15-20 min to "building data"
any way to speed it up? A more efficient install perhaps?
Yes, thanks for the feedback. It is known issue and will be fixed in one of the upcoming patches.
The installer & patcher are stuck at 'building data', but if you happen to kill the worldshift.exe that is running in the background (I have no idea why it is running if you're in the middle of installing/patching the game) it completes instantly. Letting it finish the installer & patch on its own made the game work, at least so far.
