Hi!
I have the same problem, but can´t post a dxdiag because I´m at work.
As I see you have Vista Ultimate too. 64 or 32 bit?
I´m using 64 bit.
When I install the game it shows some errors regarding creating files and folders.
Did the same happens with your system?

A quick look at the crash dmps reveals that the game is not designed to run on a 64 bit OS. :bash:

I believe the DUO 2 CPUs are 64bit, so Vista would of installed the 64bit Kernel.
COMMENT: If the game does not support running in a 64bit environment, Black Sea is going to get hits with alot a upset customers. My suggestion is to recompile for support for 64 bit or make sure it says on the box that it will not work with Vista Ultimate.
The game installed clean when I installed it as administrator.
The game is not compiled in native 64 bit mode but it should run just fine as it is. The game fails to run because a system DLL is missing. Could you please run manually "vcredist_x86.exe" from the "redist" folder (located where setup is) and report back the results?

Thanks... After running that, a reboot, I was able to run the game. :D

Will do
I would also like to confirm in Vista 32 Ultimate - Right Clicking the icon, Run As Administrator cured the bug. The download now completes and runs the patch installer as should.
