When I first tried to install I was trying it from the zip file in Windows XP. It stuck on the:
Building data. This may take a while. It quit moving. There is not a way to cancel the install. The X box is gray and so is the cancel button. So I did a End Task.
I extracted the files and did the install again and it worked fine.
After getting into the game and creating a login. The patch started to download. I walked away and came back to a WorldShift Setup screen again. I clicked ok and it started to install what looks like the patch. However it is stuck at the same place I got stuck at when I was trying to install the first time.
Did EndTask again, went back to WorldShift folder to start the game again and I get a black box on my screen and it will not start the game.
Will restart computer and see what happens.
After restart. I started up the game and am now at beginning options screen. So the patch worked but locked up when it should of given me a finish button.
