As you can read on Sunflowers' homepage the publisher of KoH was bought by Ubisoft. (http://sunflowers.de/english/news.php?id=153)The interesting question for me and many others is, whether future support will be still provided by Sunflowers or BBS. I heard from Angryminer (http://forum.sunflowers.de/member.php?u=180) on the German Sunflowers Forum that BBS got or will get all the rights on KoH as a result of this transaction.
Interesting question: Does this increase or decrease the chance of a KoH 2 version or expansion pack? Would be nice if someone from BBS could respond to this question. I hope BBS is more interested the KoH fan community and sees the great potential that the gameplay of KoH has.:)
I, personally would guarantee BBS to buy their games and would even pay 100 euros for a KoH with Europe-multiplayer mode. I would do that because I think it is the greatest game I ever played ! And it still has potential to be one of the future's best sellers.... I love the game
What do the other enthusiastic KoH fans think?

Because of the future of Sunflowers I would suggest members on forum.sunflowers.de to migrate to the BBS forum. It would be good to have the whole fan community in one place.

according my knowledge
there are presently three new forums: one official from ubisoft,
another from late sunflower's webmasters
and this one from BSS,
so the fandom of sunflowers will be crashed between these forums ....

Knights of Honor still had a presence on the Sunflowers site because of the fact that it was published by Sunflowers. But the rights to it no longer belonged to Sunflowers, it was not in the deal with Ubisoft. The rights to Knights of Honor were acquired by BSS when the last patch was made. You can search back through Frujin's posts on the sunflowers site and find the post where he announced that BSS now held the rights to KoH. It was made around the time the patch 1.05 was being released and a good while before any announcement that Sunflowers was being sold. So future support of KoH will come from BSS, and a KoH2 if it is to be, will come from BSS.

This will be the ultimate home of KoH, the Sunflowers forum will soon be gone, there will not be a forum for it on Ubisoft. As of this posting the only former Sunflowers forums Ubisoft is working on setting up at their board are for the Anno games, 1701, 1503 and 1602 all have a presence there.
Webmaster has started a forum for anyone that does not want to migrate to Ubisoft but still wants to have a place to go after Sunflowers site closes. There may be some KoH activity there from some folks, but the core of the KoH community will be here.
