You post a thread to say the instructions aren't clear but you realize this is Alpha so that will change? :P If you read the 'beta' news you'd know that this will change, so it's not even worth talking about right now.

Scott - Yes, its in alpha (pre-beta). What are you talking about not getting a smooth target? I target fine? And what in the world are you talking about bad graphics? Maybe it's your video card?!?! Read the posts in here, if there's one thing everyone agree on it's that the graphics are fantastic for an RTS. Go play Starcraft, come back here, and tell us the graphics are bad...
What is your video card?

If your game doesn't look like this, its your card:

graphics really are fine. Im running it with a Nvidia Geforce 7800GT on a fast computer.

Cool water effects (but can use some physics with unit interaction)
Cool weather effects
Rich in Fantasy-sci-fi worldliness

I think some people just call it bad graphics because they dont like a certain style of graphics. For example, the graphics IMO might look like the style of the Warcraft 3, but also IMO much more advanced. No doubt, from the screenshots, the characters look very detailed and well textured. I even played and everything looks like its coming together nicely. I think what he really was saying is that he didnt like the cartoon like appearance. The game has a animated look to it, but at the same time I think it has some really cool effects. by cartoon, I mean the overly-bloated looking vegitation, or the overly bright color tones that dont quite match the color tones the human eye sees in real life. (I say that, because it seems gamers are become way to fussy about a game having to always look super realistic). When a game isnt based on modern realism it really doesnt have to look 100% real. WorldShift is a fantasy game, and most fantasy games I know are rich in color and intersting details. This one included.

Anyway me-thinks CIRCUSSCOTT just has a low spec system, since he says he cant get a good target, Maybe he means frame rate?
