Why did you choose to write "Knights of Honor" (American spelling) rather than "Knights of Honour" (British and most other English-speaking countries)?????
Was that a BBS or Sunflowers decision........
Or is the reason that you like US more than Britain.............

indeed it was sunflowers who wanted to call it knights of honor. But personally i found knights of honour better. It sounded better to my ears;)

It sounds exactly the same, you mad Dutchman. But it isn't the same! Honour looks much better.

It was Sunflowers' decision.Ah, I wondered too, but didn't know.

To me "Honour" is a quality that one has(such as you would find in a Knight), and Honor is a title( Your Honor the judge) or an act of respect(Honor your Mother and Father)!

"Honor" and "Honour" are all the same, it just depends on which kind of English it is - American English or British English. ;)

I can't agree with you. Honor (American English) and Honour (British English) means the same however the British version is more international. I can tell it from my own Canadian experience (half year out there in the true north :-) that the spelling in most of the words is much more like in Britain than in US. I personally think the spelling HONOUR looks more honourful. Anyway, for selling the game it doesn't really matter because most people in Europe (except the British) wouldn't care much about the spelling.

What weird discussion we are having here ;-)

That would be due to their being a part of the British Commonwealth for such a long period of time!

Most English-speaking countries were part of the Commonwealth, so I guess it's safe to assume that most of them also use honour and other British words.

On a funny note, when I first read WorldShift I didn't see the "f" letter. You get the picture! :D

BTW what do you think about the WorldShift logo?

Don't worry - when Frujin first posted a link to the site, he forgot the "f" too! ;) :p

Hehehe... :)

About the logo of the game. There is just one thing I don't like. Those lines coming out of the planet are just odd. When looking at it as a whole it looks like a planet with wings. Like an angel or something. :p What do you guys think?

But the idea with the planet is very nice. :go:
