Hey guys i hope that this isn't a very stupid question but does anybody knows how can i restrict/specify which buildings are build in which town ?

Is this possible anyway ?

If so - i need this information very bad, so don't hesitate to post :)

there are only 2 ways I can think of:
1) tie more buildings to province features or resources held
2) tie more buildings to religions.

This is all I can think of, hope it helps

Hey Elvain :)

Thanks for the reply, but could you please be a little bit more specific on 1)

2) ain't gonna work for me since i want province specific behavior and not religion global, but thanks anyway for the idea

So back to 1) : Please provide more information on how to achieve that :)

Many Thanks and best Regards ! :)

in buildings.ini you define requirements of buildings. For instance sheep farm requires pasture. YOu can make it that stone wall or bullwark requires some "stone product" (most probably columns), or some other resource, in some cases in combination with some building.

Generaly: if a building is required (especially if the building requires some province feature), it is highly limiting.
if a trade good is required, in combination with some more ordinary building, it is not that limiting.

But note, that AI is pretty dumb so the more limitations like this you make, the less will the AI be able to build anything = the less will the AI be challenging

My idea is actually to have provinces with subprovinces so he province's main town should be strong and its subprovinces should be easier to capture. That is why i try to limit the subprovinces build potential only. This way they wouldn't be able to grow in power as much as their main province.
And if you capture the main province you capture them all.

So thanks a lot for the help with ideas and notes :)
