When i try to join an existing game, for example a location game, i am not able to join it. The error message: Cannot establish connection with all players will follow every time.
I would say this happens in about 70 % of all games i try. The same when i try to create a game. I am able to CREATE the game, but noone can join it...
Sorry if the bug/problem is already posted.
Hello this happens when your game can't connect with other players in order to start the game. The rason probably is firewall.
We are investigating the issue currently.

So, i have tested without my router, means direct connection to internet... and it works. Perhaps anyone can post the ports which are necessary to be forwarded. The ports in the faq's are outgoing ports i think, so i need the incoming for testing.
thx

I have this exact same issue... anyone know what ports are used? if no-one knows; I can try to find out...but I wouldnt count on my success

I recently installed quite smart firewall (Online Armor) which learns all needed ports for each application. Well, it claims that WorldShift needs these ports (see the screenshot) to be opened for incoming connections. I don't know if it solve your problem, but it's worth a try.
You should also check this website. (http://www.gamespyarcade.com/support/firewalls.shtml)
But also note that sometimes the gamespy network gives this error for no reason, like yesterday morning for me.
Ronon, thanks for the notice. Will add your information to the FAQ.

The additional portforwarding makes a difference. I was having this problem 70%-80% of the time I tried to join. Now after the portforwarding it only happens about half the time.
I blame Gamespy.... they are freaking everywhere and quite frankly it seems like every matchmaking system they design is buggy and requires a ton of portforwarding. I really wish more developers would follow GPG's example and build their own matching system.
