I have an excess of greys greens and even yellow items now, i was thinking maybe you could set up some sort of deconstruction table to turn these into xenoshards.
Maybe like 15 greys = 1 shard, 10 greens= 1 shard, 5 yellows = 1 shard, 1 orange = 1 shard.
Was also wondering how making the hotbar attuned to customizable keys or even 1-0 would work in a RTS (sorta like MMO's hotbars)

I heard you have a chance to get a xenoshard for each item you delete.
Then again, shards should better go for good, anyway.

Pff, it worked until the beta. But it got broken after :( We will fix it and it will be fine again.
About the shards: Overall they come pretty fast usually once you have all specializations unlocked. Once you have all specs usable, you need shards only to change spec and this is easy .. hmm .. i think :)
But of course, I am watching people feedback on this with great interest. I would like to make a bold statement: WorldShift is so different than most other RTS games (think for Ability Grid, shards, PvE, etc.) that it is pretty normal if we didn't nail everything from the first try. But, hey, that why is this beta going :)

there is already a chance to get a shard if u destroy an item... and better item = better chance
and frujin it still works. im sure. i destroying all items i dont use and i collected 3 or 4 shards with that
