Hello everybody,
with the release (and if the game is suitable for online gaming and balanced enought) we, the-battlefield.com are going to offer Online Rankings and Tourneys, all automated for free.
In this early stage of the game we can discuss in this thread!
So what are we planning:
1) FFA Ranking
2) Team Ranking ?
3) Tourneys
What you think?
Hmmm, it sounds good to me, but shouldn't you discuss that with the BSS, first, and then post here (if you haven't talked about that), and wouldn't it be better to leave them talk about their unreleased game (they may already have plans on making the same by their own, but prefer to leave it confidential for now)?
The question is if they (the devs) plan to have some self made rankings etc. Just like Battlenet.
BTW, what is their plan about the multiplay part of the game? A little detail won't hurt! :D
I think that a KoH turnament will be good at this time.... What do you think ?

Well, I need to picture how the game works and how the multiplayer part of the game is structured to get a clear picture about how we can implement a tournament or a rank system.
I guess we have to wait. ;)

That might be something you would want to discuss in the KoH section, instead of in the Worldshift section!
So when,where and what game we tourney?

An ingame ranking system would be totally awesome, and a lot less hassle for future leagues if WS becomes a big RTS game. Even better, a match arranger for these tournaments!
