Hey I got some questions.
First: My Mapediotor is always going down...if i delte the europemap and I want to save it, Knights of Honor break down...everytime. So I can't save any map, which is as big as the europemap... anybody know some help? or anybody can send an empty europemap toi me?
Second: I want to make a new mod. But which area I should make? There is also an Asiamap, Middle East map and Europe xD so what can I do then? I would be very pleased about some advices xD
Oh I've got another question to the Blacksea-team: Is it possibe, to create a map, which is about 6 times bigger than the usual europe map? Or can you create one for me? If yeah, it would be great. Because I'll create a whole worldmap!
Ok I just solved my problems up there :)
But I've got another question, and I couldn't find an answer in this forum yet. So how can ou create rivers? I just tried Ctrl+F10 without any result. So please help me :D
And another question... Anyone of you know, how to create new buildings on the worldmap...so something like the little farms, towns, mines, habors... I need to create pyramides for my africa-map. Plz help me :D
Anyone an help me? -.- I've got a huge problem....
Yesterday I placed my realm on my Africamap....it tooks about 7 hours.
Now, I want to load and there is: Realm Realm without region.....
HELP!!!!
to the worldmap you can only put realms, villages etc. but buildings...
you have to search for them, they are in the menus.
As to realms, I think there is thread about mapeditor either here or in the old forums where you can findall necessary info. You have to creat files in certain folders (I forgot which folders, but I bet I or some others have already posted those directories in the mapeditor thread.
Sorry, I don't keep it in my mind forever..
Jeah it's ok. I found this thread and solved my problems. But ty elvian xD but if I change the name of the realms in realms.inim I can't see any changes in the mapeditor. Is this usual?
And alos I heard, that I need to rotate the base.bmp, reamls.bmp, etc 180° and then flip the horizontal... But ince I read, that I just need to flip them horizontal...so what is true now? :P I can't remember
If I remember correctly you have to change the names first in the mapeditor, but last time I did it was some 6 months...
Ok I'll just try it ;) you just look my political map of Africa? xD
And alos I heard, that I need to rotate the base.bmp, reamls.bmp, etc 180° and then flip the horizontal... But ince I read, that I just need to flip them horizontal...so what is true now? :P I can't rememberYou probably read that you need to rotate the image for 180 degrees and then flip it horizontally and that you need only flip the image vertically. The former and the latter are exactly the same operations: the result is the same.
Haha I've got some more problems...
I just finished my political map...so I mean the realms.bmp, base.bmp, introbase.bmp, introrealms.bmp, realms.old.bmp and the other files I need to change.
But when I'm testing my africamap and ope the political map, it looks crazy..with green and red stribes in there...wait, here is a picture:

that has something to do with size, resolution and other parametres of the maps. Check that everything has the same parametres as the original KoH file. Also note that every province has diferent colour.
if u want my suggestion, i say we could use an expanded version of the koh map. perhaprs with more realms to the middle east and into africa,etc..
or even a more indepth european one, with many, many more provinces in each place... like it realy is...
;) good luck btw, i appreciate all the modding you guys do.
Yeah but the problem is, that you can just put 168 provinces on your map, or?
And I also throught about a huge map, with europe, northafrica, middle-east and asia, bur you can't create a bigger map than the europemap on your own. I justz asked Frujin, if he could make mea map, that is bigger than usual europemap, but he didn't answer yet.
