Greetings all,
The Sunflowers forum will be closing very soon, if there is anything there you wish to save for posterity or to be posted here, you better be about getting it saved to your HDD! :go:
I can't copy the Tavern Story here - "The text that you have entered is too long (596973 characters). Please shorten it to 10000 characters long." :(
Frujin, we REALLY need you to remove this forum's limitations like this one and those mentioned by Phil Walker in the Forums Feedback board! Please?

That's a very strange limitation.
Why would you want a text to be spread out over several (60!) posts instead of putting it all nicely into one post? Spreading it out would only make it horrible to browse and doesn't serve the overview and structure of the forum at all.
Can you maybe attach it as a .txt file? Or better .doc, since some contributors propably used formatting.

The problem with this is that we actually are trying to read every post and to know what happens on the forum. However, we can't afford to have many dedicated people to do that and therefore we are trying to make our job a bit easier. :( :(
Sometimes, the time we have is too short .. blah
I have the Tavern Story archived on my HDD, maybe someday before long Frujin can lift those restrictions!
I have it on my flash-drive too, but it could be a bit easier for us to finish the story if we have the whole story here. Well, if not - I can just post only the last logs for the time being.
Btw, how can I attach files?
And, Frujin, the text size would be the same, the only difference is that instead of one post you'd have to read 60 (if we post our whole story)! Btw, can't you give moderator rights to someone outside BSS, like Angry, Dobber and others were mods in the SF boards? And they've already read the whole story... ;)

Why is the other forum closing?
And I guess its far better to attach that story to a .txt file than to post it. It's way too long.
There are popular forums which have a 4.000 chars limit. So 10.000 is more than enough for me!

Wait the whole sunflowers forum is going to close? Or is it just the KoH section? Why is it closing the whole forum [if] it is?

Sunflowers was bought by Ubisoft. Ubisoft doesn't want to maintain two forums and thus the sunflowers-board will be shut down.

I'm really sad about it...somehow still(my nostalgy increased:D ), sunflowers forum was part of my last two years.
I knew about KOH from that forum, and found that forum because of AD 1602, it is a pity that the community there will split in different forums....:sad: :sad: :sad: :rolleyes:

I was looking for the old sunflower forum of KoH and eventually I stumbled over this forum... I am still a great fan of KoH and would really like to review the old sunflower forum again so my question is: Does anybody by chance have a backup of this forum ready and could be so kind to send it to me? If possible also the German part of the forum :)
