Not able to log into the game

When I try to log into the game using my Gamespy ID it errors out saying the server is unavailable. Anyone know if any ports "need" to be open for this to work? Or is it simply just the Gamespy servers being down?

Well I tried again today and it went through just fine. The server must not have been activated yet.
