Hi, I found old notes of one of my old AARs and was watching how long did the kings reigned.

There was one who ruled much longed than all other I have ever seen, it was 126 minutes (between death of king before him and his own death), all others were between 67 and 99, does anyone watch how long do his kings rule?

I wonder what is average rule of your kings...
from my old notes I found that it is somewhere around 80 minutes, it's nice, isn't it? :D

hm how did you watch it? Which speed of game have you played? 126 min by speed 0.5 is different as 126 min by speed 8... :go:

no, if you change gamespeed one second lasts diferent time than one second. ;) if you play on gamespeed 10 one second lasts 0.1 second so 126 minutes last the same time at any gamespeed

Sweet...
and can a king live less than expected? i mean.. if the average reign is about 60-80 minutes.. can a king reign for, lets say, 40 minutes?

Yes if the king started middle-aged or something.

Did anyone have an infertile king at one point? I got two so far, pretty weird.

I've got quite many...

the worst thing is that sometimes you have "waves" of infertile kings - several times I had 2-3 of them in a row what is not very pleasing in later stages of gamewhen the AI has good spies and you are only losing your best marshals (who become kings and die later)

Especially if you have a recently conquered empire, you will quickly lose all the hard work.

I remember playing as Trebizond once...and my second king was OLD AGE and wouldn't have a kid... finally when he was VENERABLE a prince was born.. and i remember praying for him to grow before the king died... unfortunately. the king passed away earlier... but that's not the weird thing... when my marshal was crowned as new king the same thing happened to him!!!

PS: Dont you HATE when you have an awesome marshal, with all skills set at maximum, and your king dies with no heirs and your marshal is crowned? Meaning that sooner or later HE will DIE ALSO!!!!

Did anybody else have a king crowned as child? I was very confused, cause i didnt see that before in Knights of Honor.

the king always starts to age when he is crowned, not before.

And the age is: juvenille, very young, young middle aged, aging, aged and venerable. So the king always starts as extremely young, no matter how long has he lived as a prince

Look at my screenshot - the king is crowned as child (Kind). Thats not normal. Normally he started as "jugendlich" in German but not as "Kind".

And I actually thought that an older prince starts at an older age as well when he becomes king, in contradiction with what you say, Elvain..
