View Full Version : My fu**ing Mapeditor crash!
I just got a problem with this instable editor -.-
I just created a new map, which is big like europemap!
I can't create kingdoms and if I want to create a new realm, game crash and went out -.-
-.- creating realms always worked...before on same map
But suddenly...it crashed!
WHY?! Holy....I dont understand it -.-:bash: :bash:
Ok now it works to place realms...but still problems...
i create kingdom and save it... but when i load the map...my created kingdom is lost...it dont exist anymore
And if i place a realm...the borders disappering...and i cant edit realm anymore..
I cant save it, because there stands: Realm got no area!
But I cant edit the border...because its just disappering......................................
Whats my problem? Its impossible to create map, which is big like europemap...because you always got this 2 problems:crushed:
1) when you have map woth no realms it should be ok, if you were deleting the realms from some other map you have to save it, leave editor and then load it newly and you should be able to put new provinces in
2) when saving the map with just one part being covered by realms, the realms stretch over the rest of map so that's what you call borders disappearing?
So put all provinces at once without saving or create several islands not far from the mainland and create provinces there and move them to the mainland
3) it is better to create kingdoms in the editor and give them some realm immediately - otherwise the kingdom will be invisible for you next time you load the map in editor and if you change it in the file (kingdoms_800.ini) it sometimes causes crashes
4) about the crashes generaly check the KoH mapeditor thread in the old Sunflowers forum, there definitely were numerous and very good advices how to make the editor more stable.
(Goddamned schosophrenia of KOH forums, if you have time, could you please move those posts also here please? My time is very limited now and furthemore I am leaving for over a week tomorrow so this is not thing I have time for)
No, the border isn't streching onto the whole map...
If it would be like that, there wouldn't come the message: Realm got no area.:go:

it would be very usefull.. and now I really have no time to do it so would anyone be so kind please? (instead of asking qustions that were answered many times) try to do something to find the answer first before you ask. At least look into threads that are named after the thing you ask
(sorry, I'm in dilema wether to help you or do my own job now so I decided to do both so I have to be so straight and not very politicaly correct)
