Firstly, adding that scorpion was a horrible idea. The scorpion itself is a great boss, but why right from the start when he's so difficult. (I highly doubt any developers could kill him as a team of 3 with only starting equip/skills, have u even tried?) It just makes for a terrible first impression, which the scorpion now is, when you have to fight this mega hard thing and die over and over again.
100% agree to this, tried him yesterday with 2 friends about 2 hours and died without end =)

they are BOSSES !! they not meant to be easy. btw u need a good team like in a mmorpg
Its about the position of such a difficult Boss, it should not be at the starting point.

I beat Scorpion on the second try. You just can't figure out the strategy/are too bad in the game.
Atleast they added some difficulty :p
Previously, you could finish safari in a jiffy (took me and my mate about two tries, first time a teammember dropped, the second time around we managed to get through by beating all the bosses on the map). This was entirely misleading, as following locations reach a crisp difficulty very quickly.
Which, by the way, is a good thing. Maybe it's just me, but I never play location maps to "get to the next one" but to be persistent and beat them. Even if it takes 10+ tries.
Much more satisfying than breeeeeezing through. You never know what could go wrong this time around... :eek: :D

I beat him on first try, was very fun ;D
We had one person going assasin/hellfire to own the eggs, another went tribe to tank with brutes and heal, and another went mass surgeons/troopers. Worked very well.
ya tech is right i beat him by just having one guy tank and 2 guys kill the eggs real fast then finish off the boss.
The scorpion is not realy a problem, all you have to do ist to kill the eggs.
If your team is fast enough, tank the scorpion a little bit south of his starting position, a tribe player goes best for this, and destroy the eggs marked by the scorpion from time to time. Otherwise just let the scropion destroy all eggs (this would take a little bit), now only one egg will respawn a few seconds before the scorpion concentrates on it and you can destroy it in time.
Whenever an egg is destroyed focus on the adds so they can't kill the tank.
This fight is more than only doing focus dps on the boss, you should always watch the environment.

I've tried a couple of times but we just don't have the dps with 2 players. I've never managed to play safari with 3 yet, since one will always drop out.
