heh I find brute spam backed up by freeze and heals, or shifter spam with infestation, to be more annoying than any human unit combinations. My only beef with humans are base turrets.

it does matter if hes playing for a day humans. its not much and many players are much more experienced. i can maybe give him some hints what he should try. maybe hes isnt using the right tactic...

Dante, Humans are OP. Nothing you say will change my mind. God mode healers, stupid damaging hellfires, the base fucking rapes an entire army by itself and the ability to build on shards with the fucking lord commander. why the hell cant i build shit with my High priest.

Cult can even build on shards without any units. They have an ability to infest it as long as you have field of vision on the shard.

No hes right. Humans are broken. I've fought hellfire spam and its ok. Just need to change your strat. But, the surgeons and trooper spam is broken. Literally broken. I've defeated all sorts of players on the human side but whenever they seem to spam surgeons and troopers its all over. Because they have enough money to call in shock troops, a bomb and all sorts of stuff while also using confuse to disable my units so they are just sitting targets.


Hell i've even Horrifyed, called in infest, D chained them, Feared them, Dark vortexed, feed, nova, breed on them all at once. and they WON. And it wasn't just one battle but each one. Its literally BROKEN. there is no way to beat it other then luck. and picking out the surgeons in a white colored army is literally impossible unless you zoom in. and keeping them disabled long enough to be targeted isn't very viable.


that very well means i spent 500 extra resources in a full on fight with all my officer slots filled, all their abilities in use, and thats just a no no. I shouldn't even have to spend that much and if i DO use 500 (which is half the total max in the game) to attack my enemies and also use my force which costs very well the same i should WIN.

You can't outnumber troopers as cult because our ranged units cost 2 population and more money. You can't use melee against them because they do more damage at close range AND will be hitting your units while they move in. You can't use hatchlings because the troopers will slaughter them while surgeons heal any wounds. You just can't beat it. AT ALL. Unless you fluke and kill the surgeons during the battle and force the army away because they can't heal.

Human bases and proton guns are fine. They have to spend alot of money to make that fort.

yup... i tried freezing humans and picking them off one by one. but fucking christ with A bomb and confuse and fucking shock troopers right on top of em i couldnt do shit to the surgeons. i managed maybe 1. almost two but lost just about everything.

just had another 3 games vs a human player using surgs and trooper spam. I teleported RIGHT ON HIM with an army of tritechs, trisats, 3 doms, 1 mani, my master, 2 overseers and LOST. I stunned ALL his guys with my doms, used feed, called in an army of hatchlings and LOST. I'd suggest you fix this as its really breaking the game. No one wants a game where one strategy wins over all others.

- Splitt your army in 2 or more groups and attack form different directions
- Use Dimension Chain first and continue with Fear as soon as it fades
- Summon 2 packs of your bugs when fear breakes and attack the Surgeons and the Lord Commander with them

Because your amry is splitted neither Confuse nor Assault Bots are very dangerous. While in Dimesion Chain and Fear you focus on the Surgeons, and if they should survive there are your bugs that can prefend them from healing for a while.

With Dimension Chain und Fear you can disable a part of your enemys army for about 12 - 19 seconds, depending on your items. If you concentrate your damage this should realy be enough time to kill at least 3 of his officers and some troopers.

Iam a good Human Player loosing only 2-5% of my 1on1 Games, but i have big problems against Cult, so i think if you have a good strategie Cult can beat Human easily.
The Aoe of the Master is a VERY powerfull weapon against soldiers, and in combination with a horde of trisats soldiers will die in seconds.
Putting the Hellfires in Fear or Dimension Chain nearly makes it impossible to use the Hellfire melee attack.

bleh. I always split my forces up into 2-4 groups. i ALWAYS stun, i ALWAYS try to take out the healers. It doesn't matter. the Surgeons just heal to much to quickly and make the troopers immune to death or damage. i might kill 1 or 2 guys but thats all.


Try being cult and fighting a human using the tactic you'll see what i mean.

Funny, my hellfire spam always defeats trooper spam. But if you're saying trooper is stronger overall, I might have to change my tactics to test it out more.
