I do not see this info on the official site, but is this game planned for North American release, and who will be publishing it there?
My understanding is that RTL Games have no US representation.

Yes, it will come for online distribution as well.

Do you know, who publishes WorldShift outside of Germany? Or has this question not yet been decided? In places like France, UK, maybe US.

Well i added it into Steam with that "Add non-steam game..." button.
This way i have the overlay when i'm ingame.
But i'd like to see it in Steam too, because that would mean that more people know about it.
