Need to write a paper on what this chapter is about, but I'm having some trouble understanding what exactly is Dante trying to say.
Is Dante accusing Francesca as the one responsible for her "tragic" love with her husband's brother, or is he celebrating them?
Also, is he making the punishment received for the sin of lust more about the fact that it occurs because it is derived from uncontrolled human emotions/passion than having sex itself?
any feedback would help.:)
